Pastor Babij explains how this passage shows believers two important principles: Christians should be purposeful in bringing children to Jesus, and Christians should be attentive to the character of children as a symbol of the kingdom of God. Children are naturally helpless, dependent, and trusting. Jesus says that those who want to receive God’s blessed kingdom must also have these qualities.
