In this sermon, Pastor Babij examines Jesus’ call to discipleship and posits that a wrong view of Messiahship leads to a wrong view of discipleship. He explains each of the following aspects of discipleship: 1) Disciples must deny themselves 2) Disciples must take up their cross 3) Disciples must follow Christ. He concludes that an understanding of true discipleship leads to the opposite of a performance-based worldview and should move Christians to live and proclaim the gospel.
